Who Is This NVQ For?

This qualification is for experienced slinger signallers who are already carrying out slinging and signalling duties on site and hold a valid CPCS or NPORS red card.

People currently working on live construction sites
Operatives involved in slinging loads and signalling lifting operations
Candidates who can provide current site evidence
Not suitable for trainees without the relevant red card

What Evidence Will You Need?

Evidence is based on your normal lifting operations work. You do not need to attend classroom sessions or complete written exams, and simulation is not used for this NVQ.

Short site videos showing normal slinger signaller duties
Site photographs linked to lifting operations
RAMS or task briefings for lifting activities
Lift plans where used on site
Pre-use checks, inspection records or lifting accessory checks
Site induction, toolbox talks or briefing records
Witness testimony from a competent supervisor or manager
